Message | We believe that forcing those to stay in school who have no desire to be there or are not succeeding in the academic world benefits no one. It merely creates a less pleasant environment for teachers and students who wish to get the most out of the academic world. Daunte Woodson Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |
Date | 19:03:00, October 02, 2008 CET | From | Radical Party | To | Debating the Age of Leave Act |
Message | We disagree. There are other, more vocational options for those students who do not wish to pursue an academic career. The emphasis should instead be placed on developing key skills for the workplace or further education, and not forcing children to continue with an education they loath. The education system should become more flexible and attend to the needs of the children. Yarrow Dunwoody Shadow Education and Culture Minister |
