Bill: Youth Liberty Act 2 Nov 2645

Details

Submitted by[?]: Chidan Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2646

Description[?]:

To force young adults to stay in full time education, and to take this decision away from the youth, is completely irresponsible and immoral. It is time to put these decisions into the hands of the youth to allow them to live the life they want to live. Their future is at stake here, not ours and thus, only they should be the ones to make such a decision. School is not for everyone, and now is the time to recognize that and respect those who would rather find full time employment.

MessageFirstly you are judging a persons intelligence by how they perform academically, which we find quite ignorant. There are many different types of intelligence, academia is only one.
Secondly, it is the responsibility of our people to decide what role they wish to play in our society, it is not our position to shape the people into a particular role.
Finally, our society could not function if every citizen completed secondary education and continued to pursue a third level degree. There are many valuable services that are provided on a daily basis and are the center of our economy, for which no third level degree is necessary.
