Message | "This is a controversial act. Articles 1, 2, and 6 are acceptable if not admirable. Articles 3-5, however, are restrictive and oppressive. Our nation's citizens should not be forced to fight in a war. That should be voluntary. We only support a draft that merely trains our citizens, and does not send them to war. Our military should also not be restricted. It is a strong military, and a proud one. We should not hold back when in battle with our enemies. That said, the abolishment of the slave trade is a major step forward in the human rights department, and the establishment of tariffs sends a message of nationalism to our people. The reduction of foreign aid is more than admirable, reducing other nations' dependence on Likatonia as well as putting our money towards our citizens." Chip Parker Berosian Party Leader |
