Message | As the appointed representative of the Party for Eco-Anarchist Technocracy, I wish to formally declare my condemnation of this act, as well as those responsible. I also wish to declare our support for the victims of this attack, and their friends and family, during this time of hardship and grief. But we cannot let this savage and barbaric attack be used to take away rights. Article one is a signal of defeat to the terrorists, article two is us becoming as bad as the terrorists, and articles three and four are a victory to those terrorists. It is obvious that the terrorist organisation behind this attack, is composed of christian fundamentalist, who are attacking us because we have defeated most of the bills that will turn our commonwealth into a christian theocracy. We denounce these enemies of Luthori, but will not surrender to them. The only way to win, is to not give in. We must stay a progressive, secular, pluralistic society. |

Message | What!?!?! When I suggested the death penalty for that reason, you voted against it. As did all the other parties. Anyhoo, we support all but 3. |
Date | 15:04:11, October 03, 2005 CET | From | Luthori Green Party | To | Debating the Prevention of Terrorism Act |
Message | DUP, if you want to respond, announce a press conference or something, or let ITRP make one. |
Date | 21:18:34, October 03, 2005 CET | From | Covenanters (IA) | To | Debating the Prevention of Terrorism Act |
Message | What would the ITRP have in place of article III? Our nationality is worthless if we place no value on holding it, and the current legislation allows these terrorist to cross our borders, acquire full status as Luthori subjects and perpetrate these crimes against us. The government does not appreciate the finger-pointing initiated by PEAT. The majority don't carry out atrocities of this type in a democracy: they use their votes. Only minorities use these asymmetrical tactics. |

Message | I bet the government would appreciate any finger-pointing if the target wasn't christian. Christians might constitute a large percentage of the population, but christian fundamentalists don't make up the majority. I suggest the DUP attempt to come up with some real solutions, rather than use this event as reason to step up their campaign to curtail civil rights. |
Date | 06:48:06, October 04, 2005 CET | From | United Conservative Party | To | Debating the Prevention of Terrorism Act |
Message | Article 1: The police need the authority to act if terrorism is suspected - it only takes a bomber 1 second to press the detonator. Article 2: This makes a start but needs to go further. Murder with cruelty or torture, and mass-murder, need to be included. I'm considering if Sodomy should also attract the death penalty - wait! It already does! Article 3: Quite right! Article 4: Should we restrict some categories altogether? Muslims, for instance? |
Date | 07:07:23, October 04, 2005 CET | From | Luthori Green Party | To | Debating the Prevention of Terrorism Act |
Message | UCP, sodomy does not and never will attract the death penalty, and muslims are not, and will never be restricted. |
Date | 13:49:58, October 04, 2005 CET | From | Covenanters (IA) | To | Debating the Prevention of Terrorism Act |
Message | I'm prepared to consider separate bills for the death penalty and nationality. Does anyone have any problems with the other articles, considering the threat we are dealing with here? |
Date | 13:53:13, October 04, 2005 CET | From | Social Calvinist Unionist Party | To | Debating the Prevention of Terrorism Act |
Message | Gah! Restrict Muslims!!?!?! Oh dear, then there goes almost all of the Agathion province. Never mind they are loyal citizens of the Imperial Commonwealth, many of whom have died in its service against ciminals and thugs... |
Date | 13:54:00, October 04, 2005 CET | From | Social Calvinist Unionist Party | To | Debating the Prevention of Terrorism Act |
Message | Anyhoo, we were fine with the death penalty in it too, but we're 100% behind this bill. |
