Bill: Anti-Vampire Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Patriciate Imperial League (UCF)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2649
Description[?]:
So-called "vampires" are vile, dangerous, HIV spreading, disturbed people who need to be cured for their disease. Any "vampire" found by our police force will be banished from our country. Seeing as the "Party of Blood" thinks there are lots of them, we don't want to waste our prison resources, which is why we will just ship them to Kafuristan, which is full of nutters anyway. Hell, we'd be curing the world's problems if we let all the Kafuri's get eaten. |

Message | Surely the Wave parties can be happy now, they are getting the childish entertainment they require. Maybe after voting on this bill, they can go back to pre-school and play with their little dolls and toy trucks. |

Message | (1) Seawave are against the "Vampire Bill". Check your facts. (2) This is just as discriminatory as the "Vampire Bill", as well as very phobic toward those suffering from HIV. We deplore this. (3) Apostrophes are possessive, not plural. |

Message | The Party of the Wave is upset by the personal attack made on our party by the PIL. The Party of the Wave would like to state once again that it is very serious when it comes to bettering Mordusia. The Party of the Wave was merely defending its ally in the fight for progression, and also appreciates humor when it is presented. That does not mean that the Party of the Wave is a child who enjoys a sand box. Personally, I never was one for the sand boxes; I never enjoyed cleaning off all of the sand, and to this day I dislike beaches for this same reason. But I digress. The Party of the Wave is saddened that a simple attempt at humor has come to be seen so negatively, but now knows not to attempt any effort of playfulness in the future. |

Message | Seawave: What does verboten mean? Honestly never heard of it... But yeah, I was rushing when writing this, so I'm sorry 'bout the mistakes. The Party of the Wave: The PIL does not deny that the POW (heh, thats not such a good name... TPOTW?) are working to better Mordsusia. We all have our opinions how to do that and, in all honesty, the PIL does agree with certain policies of the TPOTW. That being said, this is politics, so it should be realistic. We thank you for understanding our point of view. We would also like to apologise for the personal attack made against the TPOTW and assure them that, so long as vampires and vampire bills remain out of politics, it will not happen that way again. |

Message | While the Coalition rarely supports descrimination, the vampirist lifestyle is a lifestyle built on the unfair exploitation and harm of other people, therefore, no vampire can live within the moral community. We support this bill. |

Message | We support. Vampires murder people to feed on their remains. Murder should be banned, and is. |

Message | Board of Directors Member, Richard Prior: "HIV is simply a virus that has come as judgement upon -" (Rudely interrupted by Peter Leonard, also of the ARP) Vice Chair, Peter Leonard: "What my honorable colleague was meaning to say is that we find is most amusing that the Datakja Coalition has seen it necessary to protect the moral community within society. We are most pleased. |

Message | The DC assures Peter Leonard that he has no idea what the anarchist concept of "moral community" actually is, and finds it amusing based on a misinterpretation. |

Message | *Richard Prior stands up again* "You atheistic scum over in the Datakja Coalition don't even understand! The arguments for having an anti-Vampire Law is the same benefits as not allowing homosexuals or witches or gypsies to be within our nation! -" *Augustus Liberty interrupts* "You will be pleased to know that Mr. Prior is no longer an elected official of Alliance Res Publica. You are asked to leave the chamber, sir. As for the Datakja Coalitions interesting comments, I would say that we can agree that I don't understand how an anarchist can understand the concept of a moral community, unless he is amoral or atheistic." |

Message | The Coalition would like to correct Richard Prior. The Coalition is a secular party due to the inherent totalitarianism of religion in the state. Also, most of the "leaders" are agnostics, not atheists, and would appreciate you use the appropriate term. As for "moral community," it simply means one thing: coexistence. As long as one can live in society without harming another, they are within the bounds of the moral community, regardless of what they choose to do in their private lives. When they breach that peace, and do deliberate harm to others, then they prove that they are not capable of living in such an environment, and are punished accordingly. |

Message | Also, the arguments the DC uses are not the arguments used by the former MP Richard Prior. Being sexually attracted to a member of the same gender, choosing to believe in a religion, or choosing to have a nomadic lifestyle, does not inherently harm other people. We do not see Prior's connection. |
