Bill: Nuclear Act
Details

Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2121
Description[?]:
The purpose of this bill is to allow the use of nuclear weapons anytime in wartime. The idea for this bill comes from the recent bill for the United States Pentagon, allowing a pre-emptive strike on nuclear facilities. If other nations use this tactic, Trigunia is left defenseless against a greater power. |

Message | Ah yes, the US under Dubya, are you sure that's an argument *for* this nuclear policy. This is a guy who thinks *tactical* nukes are a great idea. I can be persuaded of the merits of having a strategic nuclear weapons program, and I can even be persuaded that there might come a time when you really need to *use* the weapons rather than just waving them about like a dick subsitute; but tactical nuclear devices are really asking for armageddon. Still, it's not like the guy with his finger on the button is a religious fanatic with a messiah complex or anything... |
