Bill: Extradition Act 2120
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Centre Party of Gaduridos
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2121
Description[?]:
Our current policy of not allowing extradition of our citizens essentially gives our people a free pass to commit crimes elsewhere, as long as they can race back to Gaduridos and safety. We feel this is unfair, and individuals ought to have responsibility for their own actions. Therefore, this bill will authorize the government to seek extradition treaties with any nations that do not practice cruel and unusual punishment of suspects. |

Message | Against. Our citizens, if guilty of a crime, should be prosecuted in our nation. |
Date | 17:28:26, October 04, 2005 CET | From | Nuovo Partito Di Machiavellian | To | Debating the Extradition Act 2120 |
Message | But if the crime was not committed here, then our courts would have no basis for prosecution. Extradition would require that a court case first be tried here before extradition should take place. I was leery about passing th current law, and I will vote for change. |
