From | Proletariat Revolution Party | To | Debating the Private Schools Act | Message | The government isn't the parent of this children! I say give them private school if the government pays for it. Otherwise the mixed system is better. |

From | People's Party | To | Debating the Private Schools Act | Message | NSF-Vouchers will pay for the education of poor kids in private schools.
Labour- Some public schools are good , but most of them fair poorly compared to education in the private sector. I believe that it therfore the best option for our future. |

From | | To | Debating the Private Schools Act | Message | I would say that your comparison of quality would depend where you live PP. In the US you would probably be right from what I know, but in European countries it is much more variable with several countries having some state schools (not all of course) being of equal standard to the best private schools. |

From | | To | Debating the Private Schools Act | Message | I'm opposing this - if nothing else, think of the cost of administrating the system. It would also be open to so much fraud. |

From | Liberal Party for Equality | To | Debating the Private Schools Act | Message | thats what i said last time this debate came around. and that free education should be available to everybody, as it is in my opinion a basic right. |

From | National Centrist Party | To | Debating the Private Schools Act | Message | Why would administering this system be open to any more costs and fraud than administering a -completely- government run system? It would be LESS government, not more. |

From | | To | Debating the Private Schools Act | Message | It is good education for the rich and worse for the poor. The system being replaced achieved this already and ensured a decent basic level of education for the majority. We feel this bill is driven by ideological reasons rather than the best interests of the children of Likaton. |

From | People's Party | To | Debating the Private Schools Act | Message | The rich go to good schools anyway. This would allow poor kids to get into those schools as well. Yes standards would differ but thats not differnet from public school, and even the worst private school would be better than the worst public school. It has to be, because otherwise kids could simply go elsewhere. |

Random quote: "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson |
