MessageWhy should they be regulated? This is just government where government is not needed.

If parents want a government regulated preschool, they can go to the state ones (which have the benefit of being free). If they do not want state regulation, then they can go to a private one. This way, they have choices. By forcing regulation, it increases the cost of the private preschools, and reduces the choice available to parents.

MessageThis is foolish, you're just offering the same thing twice, basically.

MessageIt is not the same thing, as it stood anyone could take in kids during the day and call it a nursery. With this legislation all nurseries will have to follow a correct curriculum and also not to mention health and safety standards.

MessageThe only thing kids ever learn in pre-school is how to share, and to not eat the craft supplies. Come on now, you're reaching for things.
