MessageNo, the federal government is wastefull, inefficient and will always be so. it must not "intrveen" to help people out, when it interveens, it doesnt help, quite the opposite.

MessageIt doesn't help by creating a more efficient police force? Strange reasoning...

MessageTo use the FRPs arguments, this is communism. Getting rid of local police will lead to a secret police that stamps out any free thought.

John McGrath, the minister of Justice, feels that local police deserve much more recognition than the LSP gives. The LSP spit on their service.

MessageUP: The LSP has not proposed to "get rid of the local police". They have just chosen to add another level to the police force.

The PIL, however, opposes as we believe a central police force is unnecessary and will not improve efficiency. Each region has its own police force, run by its own local government. Any move by the central government to run a SECOND police force is just doubling up resources.

MessageUP: This is not 1984, this is 2655. Just because another police force exists does not mean there will be a "secret police" stamping out free thought. Nowhere in this bill is the word "secret." Your party is making things up in order to defeat this bill.

The PotW supports this bill.

MessageThe point is another police force is completely unnecessary and just a waste of money. Internal Security affairs handle inter-state affairs and state police departments handle crimes inside the state.

MessageYes, there is already internal security. Also, the military can back up police when they are unable to handle the situation.

Random quote: "A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks." - Thomas Jefferson
