Bill: Budget proposal of October 2120

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2121

Description[?]:

The Liberty Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Republic of Trigunia.

Three of the least important government money pits have been trimmed back to more sensible levels. This is to reflect the fact that as we are not living in a socialist dystopia, we have no need for centralised control over the market.

Over time we plan to further reduce the pointless activities of this currently obese government, but we feel that this is the key immediate action to eliminate our current deficit.

MessageIt's good to see that the cabinet is undertaking some action. Only the SLP would have chosen other budget cuts.
