Message | I think there is a proposal you can add to this threat, otherwise it will not have any effect if it is approved or not. |

Message | Right, what you want to do is click on the following: Find \"Adding a New Proposal\" on this page. Click on the link to \"add\" a new proposal. Then click on \"Next\" (The default choice of \"Legislation\" is what you want) Then go down to find the variable titled \"Government policy toward marriage.\" (I\'d do a \"Find\" for the word \"marriage\"). Once you find that variable, click the \"Next\" next to it. Then you\'ll get a radio button block of choices for what to change the law to. You probably want \"The government allows all consenting adults to obtain civil marriage contracts.\" Highlight the radio button next to it. Then click Next. Once you\'ve done that, your bill should have a law proposal, just like the OOP\'s Liberal bill you voted on earlier. Thats the only way the game can know what the law does, so you need to add proposals that way, in order to become more visible, so that you\'ll get votes in the House of Delegates next election. |

Message | Ok, if thats the things you want, now you just send it to a vote, and whether it passes or fails, the voters start learning where you stand on the issues - and the ones who like that stance will start voting for you. The more votes you make, the more your visibility goes up. You also get a bonus for being the party who introduces the bill (a small one, but for where you\'re at in visibility, important). But you have to send it to a vote (and the vote has to finish - so if it\'s too close to elections it won\'t work) to get the credit. |
