| Message | The only thing about not producing them i find to be a bad idea is others will still have them. I do agree with not buying or selling. I do however atleast feel we should have a limited stockpile. |

| Message | I believe that we should ban nuclear weapons. If another nation uses them, it is bad enough. We should not use them in response, even if it means we lose a war. Losing our independence is a small price to pay in order to preserve the health of our planet. Even if we lose the war, that is better than destroying the entire world. At least then we can have a chance to someday rebuild. I am a strong supporter of national defense, but nuclear weapons are not like other, convetional weapons. They do not simply kill they people they are dropped on. They spread radioactive fallout all over the planet, causing immense harm to people all over the world, and also causes untold environmental devastation. There is absolutely no justification for the use of nuclear weapons. We will vote in favor of this bill. |
