Message | No way Aldegar is turning a presidential state. |

Message | Article #3 is a sound one, however, we in the Progress Party can not subject to such the former articles. They are a constant reminder of the freedom which the Local Democracy beholds, and should at all times have. |

Message | This act attempts to remove the expensive duplication of government and services in our nation. Do our citizens really require that much governing? Surely a democratically elected government at national level is enough. You discuss freedom. What about freedom from government? Do we trust our citizens to run their own lives with minimal influence from the government, or do we need to legislate on every thing they do? Citizens are able to participate fully in the election of the national government, ensuring democracy is not denied. |

Message | Except for Article 3, the proposals only INCREASE the power of the central government. Some of the powers taken from local governments, some from the people. |

Message | We fail to see what the issue is. The Green Party of Aldegar\'s voting record re centralization is unitarist-leaning. How does this bill differ from your position? If Aldegar had just one level of government, at the national level, this would remove duplication of services which cost our citizens money. Reduced red tape, uniform national standards, and increased accountability - no more blaming local/regional/national government and no more passing the buck. |
