MessageLocal governments are not the right level for this policy to be determined as the environment does not recognise political boundaries and so needs to be dealt with at least at the national level.

MessageEcological preservation is important to the future generations as well as the current. If we put in restrictions now, we can ensure a green future.

MessageI'm uneasy on this. I'd support it if I could count on support in certain other arenas that I believe should pass.

MessageIs there no compromise position? I recognize that the environment has no political boundaries, but can't reach joint policing agreements by themselves?

MessageSorry, I forgot to put in the word 'counties' it should read:- Can't counties reach joint policing agreements by themselves?

MessageI can see political arguments in other areas and while we as a party believe in a centralised government in we recognise that some issues are better left to Counties. However in this case we do not since the environment is best tackled at a large scale. Polution in one region with lax rules could have a devastating effect on a neighbour that has strong rules.

Random quote: Although I understand and respect the intentions behind the gesture, this is not something that is universally understood or appreciated, and it tends to give out a negative impression of our party. ~ Anton Weinreich, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party, pleading with his members to stop burning the national flag
