Message | And you call yourself 'liberal'. |
Date | 14:34:36, November 18, 2008 CET | From | Progress Party | To | Debating the Income tax proposal of May 2667 |
Message | Cut taxes. Not raise them. Not much of a consistent party you have there. 90 % is only going to lead to more loopholes, and eventually rich people will reside elsewhere, blatantly asinine. |

Message | Where does it say that liberalism means you support tax cuts? People have this weird world view where they expect, no, demand government fix problems, yet they are extremely unwilling to have to pay for them. This is not a permanent measure. It is necessary to fund increased investment in our country. You have to look beyond the immediate political aspects and take a look at the big picture. |

Message | But are those increased investments (those u proposed) necessary? And taxing this high is even unacceptable for us left wing hippies. |

Message | Yes. These taxes are necessary in order to have the funds to allow our nation to repair and rebuild neglected infrastructure, as well as expand on new facilities. Again, this will be a one off, finance and taxes will be adjusted in line with the nations needs. It is not the policy of the Liberal Progressive Party to let Aldegar stagnate. Infrastructure investment will boost productivity and employment, which in turns creates more funds available to the government through taxes, which means there may be increased funding for other items on the budget. Maybe even this new 'environment' thing you hippies keep on about. |

Message | We don't need to boom up the budget and use enormous sums at once, and make every rich investor travel to other countries and invest. If you want infrastructure, then you should increase the funding, but not by half of the budget. That's just ridiculous. |
