I have recieved an application from another player to join in with the politics of this jolly little nation. And in not setting a precident at all, I thought that I would seek your views on the matter. Oh, and he can post on the thread as well I guess. Here is the party in question: http://82.238.75.178:8085/particracy/main/viewparty.php?partyid=1403 That reminds me, is it BB code or HTML that works on here? |

Message | I am all for the inclusion of new parties, but I would say that this should be the last pro-market party that we let in. Personally I'd quite like some loonie-leftie party for us to interact with. Only one mind, we don't want them getting too big for their boots or anything now do we? |

Message | I sort of like the balence of power the way it is... i mean, if this were a wacky commie.. i would be more inclined to vote yes... but this is just going to be a clone of the KRA and I dont feel we need that. Therefore I vote no. |

Message | Good point actually, but where should we draw the line? I definately don't want eight parties here, as its difficuilt enough to get anything done in Dolgaria, and I don't want Keymon to boil down into silly 'ok private schools are banned, now they aren't' see-saw bill voting. Having a whacky commie would obviously give us all something that we can vote against, thus ensuring that our visibility's dlon't disapear... Hmm, tricky. Personally I would like to see a fourth, and maybe a fifth party here, just to make things more intersting. I mean I can't be arsed to propose many bills, but I'll certainly vote on those that others propose ;-) I'll let him speak for him-(or I guess her I suppose)-self, I'll PM the bill address to him so that he can do so. If it comes to it, a show of hands rather than a vote will do, and feel free to give him a grilling. Oh and of course this is all completely non-binding of course, the final decision is of course mine. Well I did pay for this place didn't I? ;-) |

Message | I noticed yesterday that the addition of an 'A' would be a very bad thing for my party. Oh well.... |

Random fact: Players who consent to a particular role-play by acknowledging it in their own role-play cannot then disown it or withdraw their consent from it. For example, if player A role-plays the assassination of player B's character, and player B then acknowledges the assassination in a news post, but then backtracks and insists the assassination did not happen, then he will be required under the rules to accept the validity of the assassination role-play. |
