Message | This is a very small cut from the surplus, only about 5 billion dollars. The surplus will remain at 40-39 billion dollars. We propose a billion dollar increase in Internal Affairs, a 4 billion plus an extra 5 million to defense (as pledged to put some money back into it) and propose 100 million go into our education/culture ministry. Main reason for the increase in defense/internal affairs to better address the current paramilitary at hand and defend the Crownlands more efficiently. |
Date | 23:14:34, November 20, 2008 CET | From | Republican Coalition | To | Debating the Budget Proposal (spending) of October 2668 |
Message | We will block this proposal due to the cut in the Foreign Affairs department, which is unwarrented. |
Date | 23:30:32, November 20, 2008 CET | From | Konstitutionelle Monarchie Partei | To | Debating the Budget Proposal (spending) of October 2668 |
Message | The foreign affairs ministry does not need 400 million crowns to write treaties, propose treaties, talk with allies, and seek to end a treaty. 100 million crowns is a reasonable rate for the ministry and believe it can sustain itself if this passes. |
Date | 23:34:42, November 20, 2008 CET | From | Wiedervereinigten Nationalisten | To | Debating the Budget Proposal (spending) of October 2668 |
Message | We question how the RC intend to 'block' this bill. |
Date | 00:08:57, November 21, 2008 CET | From | Liberal Party of Hulstria | To | Debating the Budget Proposal (spending) of October 2668 |
Message | The LPH applauds the FAP for such a balanced proposal and one that doesn't increase spending severely. |
