Bill: Motion to Censure Juan Castiglini
Details
Submitted by[?]: United Labour Party of Telamon
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2673
Description[?]:
We, the United Labour Party of Telamon (ULTP), move to censure Juan Castiglini of the Radical Party for referring to his opponent in the recent Telamonese presidental election, current President John Ford of the Telamon National Party (TNP), as "a sexual deviant" who "greased the sordid habits of some of the most powerful men in the media to win favourable coverage". This is unacceptable language for a politician in a free and accepting society such as Telamon. |

Message | This issue has already been combatted. Juan Castiglioni has been suspended indefinitely from the Radical Party, and his constituency in Sevescia. His comments were independent of the Radical Party, and are not in line with our thinking at all. Ingrid Baptiste Party Leader |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
