Bill: Deregulation of industry Act of 2670
Details
Submitted by[?]: Federal Republican Party (UCF)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2671
Description[?]:
Many unnecessary regulations on the food industry remain Mordusian law. These regulations burden corporations with unnecessary restrictions, thereby making it more difficult for new companies to access that industry and favoring those already in positions of influence and power. Let us open free competition and deregulate the industry. Furthermore, if industries make working for them dangerous, employees will not wish to sell their services when this endangers them, or are prepared to take risks with faulty equipment. In any cases, this is none of the government's business. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols. |
