MessageBut we have to have SOME money. The government cant run on nothing.

If we have no income tax we need sales tax. When I say cut income tax, i mean completely.

Messageyes, i know, i mean cut them both but not completely. In order to give the government enough money from a sales tax you would have to have sales tax at something like 80% which noone is ever going to support even if they don't have to pay income tax. I would rather see a low(er) level of sales tax and then a flat income tax (also lower) with minimal government spending, but i cannot agree to abolishing income tax, at least certainly not until their are other taxes, suchas those on fuel which can be imposed instead

Random fact: Real-life quotations may be used in Particracy, but the real-life speaker or author should always be referenced in an OOC (out-of-character) note alongside the quotation.

Random quote: "When was the last time you talked about race with someone of a different race? If the answer is never, you're part of the problem." - Bill Bradley
