MessageAll statistics have been based on figure for the US economy from http://www.cia.gov/cia/publications/factbook/geos/us.html

If you wish to dispute whether the choice of america was appropriate or would suggest alternative figures, please do so now.

MessageI think we should generate our own statistics based on a real world model.

MessageI was wondering if that might be more biased...
If we link it to a real economy..then no one can doctor the figures. :)

MessageWe shouldn't have to wait that long until it is implimented in the game going by the forum. Otherwise I am happy to accept a model that we can find a consensus on.

MessageWhat we need is a generic model. Perhaps one from the UN?

MessageWell which one would you suggest? Keep in mind that we are more free market then America, so to model ourselves after Burundi or something would not be appropriate.

MessageTrue, there is barely any market either ;) I m fine with whatever gains consensus, I don't think it makes a massive difference which country we use for our RPing.

MessageI think that it is unrealistic to assume that we have such a large proportion of the world economy as america does, as geographically we cover a far smaller proportion. I think the economy of a somewhat smaller country should be chosen.

MessageNo we are using per-capita figures ..america is thus a $10.99 trillion dollar economy . Ours is only a $1.33 trillion dollar economy.
