Recognising the advantages of a media service providing information and education, with no coersion from business, markets, or single political parties or ideologies, this bill seeks to create free, publically available television and radio channels. The services will be funded by the government, and no outside sources, but the government shall have no right to interfere in any way with programming or hiring, as in other, independent industries.
