Description[?]:
It has recently come to our attention that Lourenne, a traditional ally has passed some very negative legislation towards us. The text of the legislation is thus; We, the Free Republic of Lourenne, do officially declare intentions to aid Lourennian nationals in Sekowo. We plan on implementing the following actions. 1) Establish official and formal ties with the government of the autonomous regions of Sekowo that contain a majority of Lourennians. 2) Begin supporting these autonomous regions through economic and military support (if deemed necessary) 3) Encourage the Sekowo government to give native Lourennians equal rights to other Sekowo citizens 4) If 3 isn't met, use military force may be used to ensure Lourennians are given their rights. 5) Encourage Sekowo to allow territories that contain a majority of Lourennians to be declared independent. 6) Integrate independent former Sekowo territories that contain a majority of Lourennians into the Free Republic of Lourenne. 7) If Sekowo refuses to allow independence of territories, military force may be used to ensure the safety of Lourennians in Sekowo. If military force is necessary, any territory in Sekowo liberated by the military of the Free Republic of Lourenne will officially become territory of the Free Republic of Lourenne if said territory contains a majority of Lourennians. As President I plan on using my full powers to ensure that the conditions of this act are met. -President Johannes Hermann von Lugendorf, President of the Free Republic of Lourenne ________________________________________________________________________________________________________ As the issue has been resolved I'm putting this to vote for archiving. |

Message | OOC: All the old parties in Lourenne left, and it appears none fo the new parties there bothered reading the history. |

Message | Ja. I found the Bill. Lourenne is being run by the NWO-like minded lunatics. They could easily be NWO trying to stir up trouble. We could ask for assistance in this matter from the other Dovani nations. |

Message | You have the support of the NUC (present ruling coalition) of Kazulia, in the event of war you would have the military of Kazulia and the NUC paramilitaries as support. Also as the DFL (Defcon mercenary organisation) is already operating off Sekowan terretories, it would be relatively simple to hire them to threaten Lourennian colonial holdings. |

Message | UFL, not thinking of terrorizing them. Just to defend ourselves and go back to the historical positions of our nations. OOC: Basically, all the old parties of Lourenne have become inactive. So, the new Lourenne parties have decided that Sekowans are discriminating against Lourennians, and have supported causing independant movements in Sekowo for people who are treated equally. The problem is as followed: Sekowo and Lourenne have been allies for centuries. We always helped one another. And the new parties are disregarding all historical RP. |

Message | OOC: It's not that big of a stretch, it happens all the time, Eritrea and Ethiopia, USSR and USA, France and Britain, all allies that became enemies, or in the reverse, the list of enemies that have become allies is much longer. Besides our converntional military is just less than twice their conventional forces. |

Message | OOC: Sekowo and Lourenne are more like the US and Canada in terms of relations. |

Message | OOC: Recall that we have been continuous allies for centuries, none of your examples stretch for very long. And I agree with DSP that the relation is like the current US-Canada except over a much longer period. Oh, well. I guess we just have to work with this new crowd in that country. |

Message | OOC: In the most extreme we could get some territory so that we're contiguous, rather than having Medina being completely separated by land from the rest of the country. |

Message | Hello, we are the New Republic Party, currently the largest party in Loureene. Our party, not being in the ruling coalition, has received all our information second hand, and we did not realize that that report from our government was false, nor did we know of the historic alliance between our countries. We will do our best to support your territorial sovereignty, and our alliance, and I apologize for our country's rash action. |
