Message | What doy mean exactly ? May be PEPOT is a bit worried about the possible outcome. We invite you to look at out voting record. You'll see our voting behaviour is accordingly. The SLP is a liberal and a social party. May be this causes some confusion. On this smoking business for instance we will vote no because it dangers directly the health of others in public places and the impact on one's personal freedom is greatly. Because of smoking in the post office customers might leave. We can't have that can we. Besides that the smokers are a minority so..... The SLP has voted against this proposal before and before that and we will do so in future. Very consistent would't you say ? |

Message | That's not very liberal thinking. If you we're a liberal, and social, you would recognize that smokers' have rights too, and should be able to do anything they want with their bodies anywhere they want. Non smokers have the right not be affected yes, and they can express that right by not being near a person who smokes. If individual establisment owners want to ban smoking in their place of business, thats fine, but it should not be the goverment's job to do so. |

Message | Smokers do have rights. However, in public places they are limited. The rights of the non smokers are more important. Smokers of course can smoke outside the public building of course. In our view this is a task of the government to enforce beause it is related to public offices. |

Message | Smoking outside the public building means you are in a public location which is currently banned. |
