MessagePrivate Corporations make millions by greed. Government organisations are owned by the people, as the government is the representatives of them, and profits made therefore go to them in the form of government projects, and putting money back in to education and healthcare. Also means that it'll likely be cheaper.

Arguably, the government makes billions by stealing. Additionally, the government is kept afloat by power-hungry individuals such as myself.

"Government organisations are owned by the people, as the government is the representatives of them, and profits made therefore go to them in the form of government projects, and putting money back in to education and healthcare."
Two points. Firstly, you seem to be assuming no one can have a say in how this company is run. If a person has enough capital, they can buy shares in the company and direct it with their shareholding powers. Alternatively, they may also use their consumer powers to choose a different supplier if they so wish. If large enough groups of consumers make the switch, then the corporation must take action of face bankruptcy. Secondly, corporations pay taxes, money which half of goes into health and education.

"Also means that it'll likely be cheaper."
You say this based on what? Governments have no incentive to be efficient about their tasks and thus tend to bureaucratise. Corporations do have an incentive to be efficient.

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset.

Random quote: "The 20th century has been characterised by three developments of great political importance: the growth of democracy, the growth of corporate power; and the growth of corporate propaganda against democracy." - Alex Carey
