Message | Most parties here being members of the International Lesbian & Gay Rights Association, i should imagine this will sail through. |
Date | 21:58:49, October 10, 2005 CET | From | Tuesday Is Coming | To | Debating the Ratification of the International Gay Rights treaty |
Message | The "don't ask, don't tell" policy should probably be permitted in the treaty. Also, this treaty will remove the ability to have certain bills come up from time to time, bills which are sure to be defeated but at least addressed. I have to vote in favor of this treaty, but some of the mechanics are worth noting. |
