Messagewhat do you meen by "whaling for scientific purposes is allowed"? Is that killing the whales, or is it just examine the whales, without harm them?

MessagePresumably it allows whales to be captured on a very, very, very small scale, just for scientific purposes. I presume the definition of "whaling" assumes it may be possible to kill the animals.
