Bill: Pornography Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Telamonese Islamic Unity Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2694

Description[?]:

While most of us are against pornography on a personal level, we feel that many teenagers will view it no matter what the law says and people should be left free to make their own decisions. We don't not want law-abiding, hard-working young people to be arrested just for viewing pornography.

MessageAre we serious! We want to allow children to purchase pornography. What about letting them have their innocence and not being subject to pornography at a young age.

MessageActually, if there was an option to lower the age to buy to say, 16, we would choose that instead. We just don't want to see TEENAGERS get arrested just for viewing porn.

Also, Islam doesn't allow underage sex, and Mohammad only "married" the girl because she was an orphan and needed someone to provide for you.

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context.
