Details

Submitted by[?]: Telamonese Islamic Unity Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2696

Description[?]:

"The heathens of Christianity have invaded the Holy Lands claiming to be on a Godly Quest to reclaim what is theirs. But it is not theirs. It is ours. Now more than ever we must stand up against the Christians as a united Islamic world! They will slaughter our men women, and children without mercy. They are the living scum of the Earth and the only language they understand is violence. Ready your arms, my brothers, and prepare for glory and death!

Allahu Akbar!"

-The Holy Islamic Church of Terra at http://www.takeforum.com/particracy/viewtopic.php?t=11049&mforum=particracy

The Republic of Telamon and the Telamonese Islamic Unity Party (TISP) objects to the worrying words of the Holy Islamic Church of Terra (HICT). The Qur'an and Prophet (Peace Be Upon Him) both say that other religions are to be respected, and that Christians and Jews, among others, are "People of the Book" who believe in the same God and are to be considered our closest friends among the many religions of Terra. Besides, the "Holy Land" is actually a Jewish homeland that has no Christian or Islamic significance (OOC:It's that way in this game; different history). We must request that the HICT stop this warmongering and recognize that the Jewish people have a right to live in their own homeland.

Foreign Minister of the Republic of Telamon

Random quote: "We must show that liberty is not merely one particular value but that it is the source and condition of most moral values. What a free society offers to the individual is much more than what he would be able to do if only he were free. We can therefore not fully appreciate the value of freedom until we know how a society of free men as a whole differs from one in which unfreedom prevails." - Friedrich August Hayek
