Bill: The Freedom to be Rich Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: LGC-Freedom Party (UPDD)

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2698

Description[?]:

Currently our country has many laws that have made it nearly impossible to maintain any degree of wealth. This drives our country's best and brightest away to pursue economic opportunities in other countries.

Our country's motto proclaims "Freedom, Justice, and Unity" and yet we deny one of the quintessential freedoms, economic freedom.

We tell our citizens that we will protect the worst workers from themselves with our minimum wage and workers unions and at the same time we tell our best workers they will be punished for their prosperity.

This attitude must stop for our nation to grow and gain global relevance.

MessageWe also support article 6 but oppose articles 3,4 & 5. Small and medium-sized enterprises need investment subsidies and employees must have decent means to defend their interests. Furthermore, proposal to cut down sales tax of luxury goods would unbalance the national budget.

We maintain our overall opposition to this bill
