MessageWhy do the SPK need to put themselves into opposition? We thought things were going quite well. We feel that we have for more in common with the Spiritual Progressives than with the KAP (no offence, Austrians, but the voting record bears that out).

MessageWe felt it was the best course of action for Kirlawa's future with a unified government that reflected broad interests and also respected the KPF's mandate :) Just an idea to float about and discuss. Wanted an outcome that pleased all other parties in Kirlawa first and foremost.

We have enjoyed governing with the KPF -- we enjoy our frequent ideological unity. We enjoyed the privilege and honour of serving in the Leftist Coalition, but only offer becoming the Opposition for Kirlawa's interests above an egocentric desire to see ourselves in government.

If other parties disagree with this notion or have any opinion or wish to retain our party in a government coalition, please feel free to express your opinions. We welcome and treasure the privilege of any opinion, supporting or dissenting, for we are nothing without others :)

MessageOOC: We also note that you have withdrawn a Bill or two. Do not be afraid to put forward unpopular measures. If they fail, you still get visibility for voting on them and people who support them will be motivated to vote for you in the next election.

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature.

Random quote: "The whole uncivilized bunch on the opposite benches can get stuffed." - Craig Warwick, former Dranian politician
