Bill: Smoking restriction bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Christian Democrat Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2699

Description[?]:

This bill aims to create a more smoke-free environment, for the comfort of the citizens of our country. It will also hopefully help to reduce the number of smokers in our society and make sure that public areas are not full of smoke and unpleasant to visit. Therefore, this bill hopes to increase the popularity of public places such as pubs and bars.

This bill was defeated the last time it was proposed but hopefully everyone has had time to think over their decisions and realised this is what is best for our nation.

MessageI think that this would do well as the first step in a genoral decrease in the ammount of smoking, and would also reduce the ammount of unwilling passive smoking by a large ammount.
However in the future I think that we should expand upon this law, and help people to stop smoking with government programs and help areas.
