Message | We believe in a honest law about this. It is proven that internationally accepted standards are merely a ghost image. What are the standards? What international organization observes them? If a barbarian nation was to invade us leaving only death behind, this would surely call for an equal treatment. We cannot agree to this right now. We can only wait, unbound to all but our destiny. |

Message | We can agree to this, however also agree with the NS. Currently POWs are treated according to the laws of the captor nation, something that could be anything. As such, we must push for an internationally acceptable standard so that prisoners are treated fairly, not how their captor wants to treat them. |

Message | A global treaty currently exists that intends to outline the fair treatment of POWs (http://82.238.75.178:8085/particracy/main/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=57). 28 other nations are already in compliance with what it proposes, and we would be eligible to ratify the treaty if the bill is passed and a majority of the parties agree to it. |

Message | This is likely to change the opinion in our party, considering the number of nations already in compliance. |
Date | 01:01:45, October 18, 2005 CET | From | National Socialists | To | Debating the Treatment of P.O.W.'s |
Message | We now hope to see that the remaining 11 countries will also ratify this unanimously. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
