Bill: Taxation Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Tokundski Nacionalisti
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2125
Description[?]:
A bill to reduce taxation on essential goods. It is morally wrong that we put a tax on essentials such as food. Taxation of this sort hits the poorest the hardest as they spend a much higher proportion of their income on essentials, such as food, thus you are effectively making them poorer by slapping a tax on essential products. Lower tax, help the poor. |

Message | This seems sensible. Shame the right-wing party had to propose it first. |

Message | We have proposed it before, but you rejected it. And right-wing parties usually do more constructive good for the poor than the left, who spend most of their time creating 'equality'rather than doing anything useful. Instead of proposing women be shot in the front line, you could have proposed it you fool. |

Message | I have pushed this before, as I have had to push it forwards again surely it can never have been passed before, which means you, or your socialist friends must have voted against it, thus attacking the poor. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
