This Bill commissions the mobilisation of a large contingent of our naval forces to the continent of Majatra. MessageHeh, "killed one ship".

The Deltarians still say it was sea mine that destroyed the Selucian ship. I trust the Deltarians over the Selucians. The Deltarians have committed many atrocities in the past, but they have never denied these incidents or lied about their role in them. They have nothing to hide. They know the rest of Terra considers them barbarians, and they seem to have accepted this role.

Concerning the proposal, I am against. Why should we send a large portion of our navy to the other side of the world? To ensure the peace between the Deltarians and the Selucians lasts? By the time this legislation has passed, and our ships are on their way, the cease-fire will have ended, and our ships will be sailing into war.

Also, our nation has recently been invited to sign a non-aggression treaty with Deltaria. While we have not signed it, or even considered it, the Selucians may be suspicious. If the cease-fire ends while our ships are there, the Selucians may consider us to be on the side of their enemy.

MessageBefore the war with Selucia? You mean we fired on the Selucians AS they invaded us? Oh yes, we're MONSTROUS barbarians. The CIVILISED thing to do would be to lie down and allow them to invade us for our precious oil and diamonds, yes?

Deltaria will oppose a Gadurdi presence in Majatra unless we can be given assurances of neutrality.

MessageAs Philosopher, I will ask permission to keep three 'Liberty' class aircraft carriers with six 'Barbarian' class destroyers in Selucian waters.

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election.
