Bill: Nuclear power

Details

Submitted by[?]: Selucian Home and Hearth

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2723

Description[?]:

Our nuclear power industry is well-developed, thanks to centuries of subsidies and mandatory dominance. We think it is robust enough to cut it loose and not spend any more money or requirements on it. Since we have highly restrictive pollution standards, that should be enough to discourage coal and other unhealthy power industries from taking over the market. Why should we favor nuclear over other clean power such as wind when those might be cheaper?

Random fact: The majority of nations in Particracy are "Culturally Protected" with an established cultural background. Only the "Culturally Open" nations are not bound by the rules surrounding culture. The Cultural Protocols Index should be consulted for more information about the cultural situation of each nation.
