Bill: Power of the Legislature and Compromise

Details

Submitted by[?]: Centrist Action

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2725

Description[?]:

This bill is designed to allow for greater flexibility in legislation. As it currently stands, a bill can have no more than 9 articles to it. An individual will go through, and if they find even just 2 or 3 points they disagree with, they will shoot down the entire bill.

By allowing for more articles in a bill, it provides an amount of maneuverabilitiy - a bill with more articles is less likely to be shot down due to just a few negative points.

Only the "Culturally Open" nations are not bound by the rules surrounding culture. The Cultural Protocols Index should be consulted for more information about the cultural situation of each nation.
