Bill: A Small Government for Small Government

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal Patriots' League

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2727

Description[?]:

The Left no longer retain a majority (if my assumption that the Eco-whats-it party is inactive).

It is time for a new alliance to reign in this nation!

MessageWhy, per chance would the LPL assume that? The TEG logged on only less than two rt days ago.

We encourage RFP to vote against this act. (I would like to point out who runs Finance in this proposal).

MessageBesides... two points here:

1) Even if the TEG is inactive, the current government retains a plurality of seats in the Assembly until the next election.

2) It is inconceivable that the RFP, such a staunch opponent of fascism, would sit in government where a fascist is the Premier. We applaud the RFP's brave, and rational vote, and await the passage of our own cabinet proposal, which is based on denying the fascists a seat in government.

... Although... Perhaps if the TEG is not interested, perhaps we may propose a coalition government with the Conservatives, just for the hell of it. They are invited to signal us if they may be interested in this, in the event that our bill doesn't pass, and for some reason we needed a new coalition partner. How's that for political warfare?

MessageYou are quick to speak for RFP. A voice of his own, I think you'll find he has!

Plus RFP has aligned with us before, despite dubbing fascists...alas, that alliance will not be restored today.

MessageI don't speak for the RFP. I speak on behalf of the Leftist Ruling government that won't fall before your plots. We were merely voicing our opinion about the loyalty of the RFP to the general programme.

I firmly believe you would have a better chance recruiting the Socialists to your devious plots than you would recruiting the RFP! After all, your positions are as socialist as the RFP's, even though your rhetoric is not.
