Bill: National Identity Resolution
Details
Submitted by[?]: Telamon Labor Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2728
Description[?]:
We would like to start an open forum on discussing the National Animal and Sport. If there is no one who wants to keep what we currently have then we should entertain the idea of changing. The Jewish Defense League would be interested in Baseball as the National Sport. We have no recommendation for National Animal. This bill will stay a resolution until some sort of decision can be made. |

Message | I suggest we do not use the Lion as our national animal. I agree, it does show pride and leadership, but it does not seperate us from the other nations. We are unique, and we need a unique animal. Although, I have no present idea for a national animal. But I agree that baseball would be a better option for a national sport then the current Football. |

Message | While we enjoy baseball, we would enjoy football (soccer) more. As for our a national animal, we suggest the Phoenix. |

Message | We could do a mythical creature like the Phoenix. That would be more interesting. |
Date | 06:25:28, March 17, 2009 CET | From | Telamonian Environmental Party | To | Debating the National Identity Resolution |
Message | Yes, a pheonix is a good choice, but does it have relations to Telamon? We are a peninsular nation, with an island under it's control. That means the mythical creature should be something related to the water. We suggest the Hydra |
Date | 06:32:13, March 17, 2009 CET | From | Democratic Capitalist Delegation | To | Debating the National Identity Resolution |
Message | We will absolutely oppose any proposal to alter the national animal. The penguin has been the national animal of Telamon for hundreds of years, and it is entirely relevant to our nation. We are more open to the possibility of changing the national sport, but would like to see it restored to ice hockey if anything. Drake Dalton Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |

Message | the national animal right now is the lion not the Penguin |
Date | 07:13:43, March 17, 2009 CET | From | Executive Intelligence Network | To | Debating the National Identity Resolution |
Message | In retrospect, we believe that the Penguin should be restored as the national animal of Telamon. |

Message | The Jewish Defense League will propose this bill no early than July 2727, if there is no overwhelming objections. Lawrence Shapiro Jewish Defense League |
Date | 22:09:05, March 18, 2009 CET | From | Cantheism Party | To | Debating the National Identity Resolution |
Message | I support penguin because that was the old animal of Telamon before it was changed to Lion, a change I did not support. I also like baseball more than football anyways. Matthew D. Hogan |
