In an attempt to: 1) Allow for the choice/right to terminate a pregnancy 2) Relieve the strain on adoption agencies due to a potential of flooding the system with unwanted children 3) Curtail any black market/underground abortions that may be occurring do to the present ban, ensuring any procedure takes place in a safe environment with doctors 4) Better in a hospital room after finding out than in a trash can nine months later. |
