Bill: Military Service Reform of 2125

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Liberal Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2127

Description[?]:

We shouldn't force our people to join the military if it is unnecessary. So why don't we just call on them when we really need them? Like say in times of war or in the defence of our country. Forcing adults who just came out of school to take part in the military is unreasonable and takes workers away from businesses who need them. This way we don't have to rely too much on immigrant workers and still be able to keep our labour force high.

Random fact: Parties have the ability to endorse another party's candidate for the Head of State election (if there is one). This adds a strategic element to the elections.
