Bill: National Intelligence Agency Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Front for State Prosperity
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2127
Description[?]:
We of the PCP see no reason to actively fund and seek to interfere with other nations. The role of the national intelligence agency should be limited to preventing others from interfering with us and providing the government with a minimum of necessary information on other countries. By limitting scope in this way we will save money and increase the effectiveness of the agency. |

Message | While we do support a strong national defense and want to keep all military options on the table, our country does have other issues that are more important. Limiting the scope of the national intelligence agency is a good way to save the government some money. |

Message | We need to keep open our possibilities, so I cannot support limiting the scope of our intelligence agencies in this fashion. |

Message | Limitting the scope increases the effectiveness and efficiency - I don't care to destabilize others, as long as others cannot destabilize us. You're a libertarian party. What would you think if these vast extralegal powers were turned against our own citizens? Name me one government in history that was so perfectly moral that the national intelligence agency never looked at national citizens! |
