We propose a return to the terminology that Likatonia has held dear for millenia. Message | We would dearly love to see the historical terms back in place. No other nation has a "Convocation" - or the history that "the calling together" brings back to mind. Other nations have 'states', but Likatonia has been unique and meaningful with it's elected Prefects and Prefectures. Even the Likaton Wolf hearkens back to both the origins of Likatonia before it was renamed, and alludes to the origins of the Likaton people. Such terms are as unique and specific to our proud nation's history as the offices of the Emissary and the Advocate. We support. With Likaton hand to Likaton heart, we support. |

Message | I like the change back to the old name of convocation, Likaton wolf return and prefecture. But i am slightly sceptical over the name change. |

Message | If the LIP prefers, we could look towards returning the other historical precedent, and work towards "Immeressent Likatonia" again... :) OOC: seriously, if you've got a better idea for the nation than a return to the historical Axis Mundi naming, let's hear it. |

Message | OOC: keeping the name the same never hurt anyone... |

Message | OOC: This is obviously true. Except, maybe - if you think the current name is more of a problem than revising the name would be. The whole 'Greater Likatonia' thing has a history, and not a good one - and could well harm attempts to forge alliances - especially in Keymon, Telamon and Lodamun.\ At least the 'Axis Mundi' thing is historical. Tradition can be a powerful ally. :) |
