We propose this Act to form a National Security Service (NSS) to patrol, investigate, and defend, against threats within our nation. The National Security Service will be an independent body, with all possible funding from the defense budget, but no government interference in techniques or operations, unless expressely ordered by the office of the Dux of the Orukan Union. The NSS will have three major authorities within our nation: Authoritive power i: To keep surveilance records and live surveilance images of public property at any time, at the absolute discretion of the Service. (Private property under surveilance must first be cleared with the Director General of the Service, appointed by the Dux). Authoritive power ii: To investigate all possible threats and leads to threats as a result of the service's, or another bodies, surveilance. (at the discretion of the service). Authoritive power iii: To arrest/detain any possible threat in an attempt to nutrilise the threat to the Orukan Union, with the approval of the Director General. Authoritve powers include government officials and elected persons, but do not extend up beyond the office of Head of Government. |
