Message | We disagree. Pre-emptive nuking will not solve anything. Don't get us wrong, we are miltiarists in the extreme, however thermo-nuclear weapons exist as a deterrant, not an active weapon. |
Date | 05:48:59, October 15, 2005 CET | From | United Centrists | To | Debating the Pre-Emptive Defense Bill |
Message | We agree with the SCCP. Pre-emptive strikes with nuclear weapons could cause serious repurcussions. Weapons capable of such horrific destruction should be reserved as a deterrant and defensive option. |

Message | You have our support. This will make any agressor think twice before making any moves whatsoever, even far beyond our borders. We cannot be bound by law to wait until we are wiped out first. |

Message | So let's just pre-emptively strike those who we perceive as enemies? What a ludicrous proposal. |

Message | Would you prefer to wait until it's too late and we have lost thousands of people? If we have sufficient evidence that a nation is a threat they must be dealth with immediately. |

Message | We wish to back this up in a more common scenario: let us hope we will never have to use them, but what country would you attack first? A country with the current policy or a country with the proposed unchainment. |

Message | This only makes us a target for nations that also believe in pre-emptive strikes and the NS and PC parties are incompetent in the field of military strategy with this proposal. |

Message | Actually, it is you who is incompetent in military strategy. By being known as a nation unafraid to defend itself with force, we will not be bullied around and invaded. If we listened to you, a nation could invade our nation without dropping a nuclear missile and we wouldn't be able to defend ourselves by dropping a nuclear warhead on their nation. That is ridiculous. |
