Resolved, by the Representative Assembly of the Republic of Cobura, that the use of torture shall be illegal under all circumstances within the borders of Cobura. Resolved, that no personnel of the Armed Forces of Cobura shall engage in torture. Resolved, that contravention of this Act shall be punishable by a term of imprisonment of no less than five (5) years imprisonment and no more than forty (40) years imprisonment, for every person tortured. Resolved, that the government of the Republic of Cobura, its regions and municipalities shall be forbidden from extraditing any person to any nation that carries out capital punishment, unless the authorities of the nation requesting extradition agree not to carry out capital punishment. Resolved, that the government of the Republic of Cobura, its regions and municipalities shall be forbidden from extraditing any person to any nation that engages in torture in all circumstances. |
