MessageAs we have state before, we see no needs for a direct democracy in Pontesi and remain dubious whether this is a move to destroy Pontesi's monarchy.

MessageWe can understand the logic of this move as an attempt to make the Grand-Vizier General a directly elected position, selected by the majority of the people, rather than one decided by the Parliament, which is reliant on coalitions and so arguably is undemocratic.

That said, we feel this move is rushed, and any such constitutional change should be discussed fully during the next election cycle before any vote is even considered.
