| We still believe the flag represents communist ideas, and we wish to propose our symbolic design below : http://img416.imageshack.us/img416/2484/solentiaflag27fd.gif ----- The Red background stands for the soil of our land and for our fallen comrads defending it, enclosed in a border symbolizing a protective environment for our people. The Blue converging diagonals represent our shorelines in the SW and the NE, and with respect to the first ideology, the blue can be seen again as a symbol of Prosperity. It is converging and not limited by a border, symbolizing limitless growth. Two Golden branches symbolize our wealthy agrarian roots, the Fruits Of Labour, but also a protective Peace. The Pentagon embraced by them represents the Five Regions of Solentia, and its white center signals a positive and pure Solidarity between them. The Blue structures seem to radiate from within this symbol. The Pentagon is turned to symbolize a shield created by the Five Unions of Solentia. In the center we find the emblem of the Falcon, the unofficial candidate for National Animal. ----- If you agree that we need a new flag, but do not agree with the NS proposal, you are highly encouraged to propose your own ideas and designs in this debate. The NS hopes that through this debate, our parties can agree on a design that does not refer any political ideology. |

No, the people have chosen, and it seems the SCCP policies were the ones that disgusted the people. Besides we are not forcing any ideals on anyone by initially requesting that new flag designs be posted here, just to get rid of the ugly, biased flag we currently have. |

| Message | Looks like most people don't care. Either way, there don't seem to be additional designs or suggestions from the alternative parties, only non-constructive criticism from the SCCP. We will open a final proposal with the NS design and see how it's rated. |
