Message | Has the RHP and OP not previously expressed there love of democracy? its actually funny when i say express because the freedom to express oneself is part of our wonderful democracy is it not? so how come we can say we love democracy and a military man or woman not say they love a man or women? |

Message | We have no great 'love' for democracy - it is an inherantly flawed system of governance, though arguably one of the most tolerable. |

Message | The Orange Party sees no correlation between allowing homosexuals to be openly "gay" in the military and democracy, a form of government. The issue has to do with rights, not democracy. |

Message | There are no 'rights' that exist outside of a founding document or a social institution; essentially, there are no rights which are universal or exist by nature, though many true rights reflect man's nature in themselves. 'Equal rights' for homosexuals are not embodied in the constitution, and are, at best, an abstract idea dreamed up by philosophers and ideologues. This idea has no 'objective' merit, and is entirely subjective, as is everything - one may believe that 'equal rights' for homosexuals are a 'good idea', but this is merely an unfounded opinion, rather than a universal 'truth', though it is often considered one. Therefore, we have no reason to favor it over the pre-existing establishment, or to enforce it through social engineering, altering what has developed naturally in civilized society for the sake of pursuing 'ideas'. |
